Why use an insurance broker?

A good broker saves you time, explains the fine print and is on your side when you claim.

A broker works for you

As your broker, we act for you in arranging your insurance, unless we tell you otherwise. Our job is to understand your situation, recommend cover that suits it, and look after your interests for as long as you’re with us.

More choice than buying direct

We place cover with a range of insurers. That means we can compare options and wordings, not just prices, and find a policy that fits how you work.

Help when you claim

When something goes wrong, you call us. We help you lodge the claim, deal with the insurer and follow it through.

Advice in plain English

Policies are long and the exclusions matter. We explain what you are covered for, what you aren’t, and any conditions you need to meet, so there are fewer surprises at claim time.

Does it cost more?

Not necessarily. Brokers are usually paid a commission by the insurer, and we may also charge a fee. Any fees are shown on your invoice. Full details are in our Financial Services Guide.
